FRI Jan. 13 Fayetteville @ SEALS (6-0 WIN) 7:35 p.m. Silver Spurs Arena

Home ice once again fueled a high-powered Seals attack and the defense backed it up with their strongest effort of the season. For the first time this season, Head Coach Tommy Stewart's squad gave a 60-minute effort and dominated the FireAntz for a 6-0 victory.

Seals net minder Terry Denike made 33 saves to earn his second shutout of the season. Once again, Andrew Katzberg had a big night offensively to pace the Seals. Katzberg scored two goals, added an assist and collected a major to earn the Gordie Howe Hat Trick.

Captain Steve Zoryk continues his climb to the top of the goal-scoring list with a couple goals. Rookie Rob Sich returned from his two game suspension in style by adding a goal and an assist. Casey Handrahan added the other Seals goal, giving him two goals in two nights.

SAT Jan. 14 Jacksonville @ SEALS (7-3 WIN) 7:35 p.m. Silver Spurs Arena

Florida finished off a perfect week on home ice and set some franchise marks in the process Saturday night. The Seals took it to their rivals from Jacksonville with a 7-3 victory.

Rob Sich and Steve Zoryk each had a hat trick against the Barracudas. It was the first time in Florida Seals history two players registered such a feat in the same game. Andrew Katzberg continued his big offensive week with another goal and assist.

The Seals got on the board first at the 8:06 mark of the first period when Sich started his big night with a shorthanded goal. As a team Florida has now scored eight goals while being a man down, tied for tops in the Southern Professional Hockey League.

The win was the third in a row for Florida quickly putting behind a five game losing streak they carried into the week. For the third straight game, the Seals scored a goal in each period. In addition to the record number of hat tricks, the Seals also set a new franchise mark for consecutive periods with at least one goal. Florida has now scored in nine straight frames.
