Flores, Albadawi Named to USL League One Team of the Week for Week 21

Cary, NC - NCFC defender Nelson Flores and midfielder Nazmi Albadawi were named to the USL League One Team of the Week Presented by Cleer Audio for Week 21 of the 2021 regular season.

Flores was crucial to NCFC's recent pair of shutouts, including a 1-0 home win against Madison last Wednesday and a 0-0 draw with Richmond on Saturday. He was particularly dominant against Madison, winning 9 of 13 duels and recording three successful tackles.

NCFC Captain, Nazmi Albadawi earned his spot on Team of the Week with his playmaking ability on both sides of the ball. Albadawi created four dangerous chances and won seven duels to help control the midfield in NCFC's 0-0 draw with Richmond on Saturday.

NCFC will host Union Omaha at home on Saturday, September 4 at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets are available here and the match will air live on ESPN+.
