FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the International Hockey League announced today (Friday) that they have completed a trade with the rival Port Huron Ice Hawks.

The Generals sent forward Jeff Zehr (pronounced Zay-er) to the Icehawks in exchange for veteran forward Greg Bullock.

Zehr collected 30 goals and added 35 assists for 65 points and 93 penalty minutes in 64 games for the Generals last season. Bullock had a strong season in Port Huron with 18 goals and 51 assists for 69 points and 70 penalty minutes in 74 games.

"I think it is a great trade for both teams," said Generals Head Coach Kevin Kerr. "Port Huron has something they have been wanting which is a a scoring forward, and we wanted a solid one or two center man and it's great for both teams.

"Greg Bullock will add veteran leadership to our team and has played great throughout his career. He can play in all situations from power play to four on four."

Bullock, a native of Cambridge, Ontario Canada, has put up some solid numbers where ever he has played. Generals' fans will remember the 5-11, 180 forward when he played for the Motor City Mechanics of the UHL where he posted 18 goals and added 40 assists for 58 points and 81 penalty minutes in 59 games.

Bullock has also spent time in the IHL with the former San Francisco Spiders, Grand-Rapids Griffins, Kansas City Blades and the Michigan K-Wings. In 54 career games, Bullock picked up 30 goals and 59 assists and 89 points and 144 penalty minutes.

Bullock's career has also seen him spend time in the American Hockey League where he had 106 points in 89 games for the St. John's Maple Leafs, and the Lowell Lock Monsters. He also played one season in the ECHL and another in the former WCHL.
