HUNTSVILLE, Ala., November 6, 2002 – After three days of training camp, Huntsville Flight coach Ralph Lewis continues to fine tune his roster for the start of the upcoming National Basketball Development League season.

Flight returnees Eric Chenowith (C, 7-1, 270), Michael Wilkes (G, 5-11, 180) and Lonnie Harrell (F, 6-7, 200), along with allocation players Rodney Bias (F, 6-9, 240) and Terrance "Doc" Martin (G, 6-3, 205), remain in camp after the team was trimmed to 15 Wednesday as mandated by the league.

The players who were released included guards Schea Cotton (6-6, 215), Eric Harris (6-3, 200), Jimmie "Snap" Hunter (6-4, 177), Sean Kennedy (6-2, 170), Terrance Simmons (6-3, 185), David Webber (6-2, 210) and Omar Weaver (6-8, 205), forwards Neil Ashby (6-8, 200) and Omar Sneed (6-6, 239) and center Damon Reed (6-10, 230).

Training camp for the Flight continues through Nov. 13, when the final 10-man roster will be announced. The Flight opens its exhibition season Sat., Nov. 9 when they take on the Asheville Altitude in a 3:30 p.m. game at Alabama A&M's Elmore Gym. The second and final exhibition tilt will be played two days later, Nov. 11, at Greenville, S.C., against the Groove.

The Flight's second season opens Nov. 15 at Roanoke in a 7 p.m. EST contest. The Flight begins the home portion of their schedule six days later on Nov. 21 when they take on North Charleston in a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.

Single game tickets are available in the following price ranges: $20, $15, $10 and $5 upper bowl children's tickets for those 12 years and younger.
