
Flash Waive Halimatu Ayinde

ELMA, N.Y. - The Western New York Flash has released Halimatu Ayinde, the club announced today.
The Nigerian midfielder signed with the Flash on June 15, 2015, as a Discovery player from Delta Queens of the Nigerian Women's Premier League. Ayinde made a total of nine appearances (five starts) for the Flash upon joining the team last summer after competing with the Nigerian Women's National Team in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup at the age of 20.
The Western New York Flash are back in action at Camping World Stadium against Alex Morgan and the Orlando Pride on Saturday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m., with a livestream available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RU2xuXDV5ZQ. The Flash return to Rochester to take on Sky Blue FC on Saturday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Tickets are available for the match at wnyflash.com/tickets.
