
FC Kansas City to Host Chicago Red Stars in Pink Game

KANSAS CITY - FC Kansas City hosts the Chicago Red Stars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the fourth annual Pink Game, presented by Overland Park Mazda and Overland Park Fiat.
Players will wear special pink jerseys that will be available through a silent auction with all proceeds going to The Ali Kemp Educational Fund.
It will also be the final game of midfielder Jen Buczkowski's professional career as she prepares to study physical therapy at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
The Blues are still looking for their first victory after taking three losses and a draw to start the season. On Saturday, they lost 2-1 to the Houston Dash and NWSL Player of the Week Chioma Ubogagu.
Chicago topped Boston on Saturday with a goal from U.S. Women's National Team player Christen Press. It was her third goal in four games. She is tied for first in the league for goals and ranks first in shots (15) and shots on goal (12).
FC Kansas City will hit the road to take on the Boston Breakers at 5:30 p.m. next Saturday and then return home to host the expansion Orlando Pride.
