Tinton Falls, N.J. - Sky Blue FC (1-2-1, 4 points) will continue its 2016 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) campaign on Friday night, welcoming the Boston Breakers (0-4-0, 0 points) into Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway. Kickoff for the contest is set for 7:00 PM ET, and tickets are available now online or by calling 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849).

"We are very motivated to play this game on Friday night after what was a very disappointing result last week," said Christy Holly, Sky Blue FC head coach. "Boston presents a really tough challenge, and the table is not a fair reflection of how they have played this season. We know we have a fight on our hands, and we will make sure to be ready for the strong test that they present."

Sky Blue FC is coming off a home match last Saturday evening that saw the New Jersey club land on the wrong side of a 2-1 result to the Western New York Flash. The team took a 1-0 lead into the intermission after Raquel Rodriguez and Maya Hayes hooked up on a spectacular goal in the 35^th minute, but the Flash secured the final scoreline after being given a penalty kick in the 71^st minute and then hitting a game-winner in the 86^th minute.

While they may have suffered four defeats in their opening four matches of the 2016 NWSL campaign, Boston is a much better club than their record advertises. They did fall on the road to Seattle Reign FC by a 3-0 tally, but their other three results are all by a 1-0 deficit. The Breakers are currently seeking their first goal of the season, but the team has registered a collective 43 shots on the year.

Friday night marks the first meeting of the season between these two clubs. The last time they faced off was in July of 2015, where Sky Blue FC was led by a Kelley O'Hara brace in a 3-1 victory for the New Jersey side.

Tickets for Friday's match are available now , and all fans who eat at Quaker Steak & Lube in Edison before the game will receive free parking for the match.

Half-season, flex and individual tickets for Sky Blue FC are all on sale! For any questions regarding tickets, call the Sky Blue FC tickets department at 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849), and a team representative will be happy to assist you.
