
Flames Re-Sign Defenseman Adam Pardy

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the signing of defenseman Adam Pardy.
In 65 games with Quad City of the American Hockey League during the 2007-08 season, the 6'4", 220lb rearguard recorded 5 goals and 13 assists for 18 points while accumulating 67 penalty minutes. Pardy was recalled by the parent club on two occasions last year; however, he did not see any NHL action.
Originally drafted by the Flames in the 6th round (173rdoverall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the native of Bonavista, NL, was named to the Canadian roster for the 2008 AHL All-Star Classic in Binghamton, NY.
