
Flames Begin Search For Mascot Performers

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames announced today that the team is holding open try-outs for mascot performers beginning on July 16th. The team is looking for energetic and outgoing people to bring life to Firestorm throughout the 2008-09 season. The ideal candidate will be available for community appearances throughout the year and for home games from the months of October through June.
Try-outs will include an interview and two performance auditions. Those interested in trying out should call Katie Bonick at (309) 277-1336 or e-mail kbonick@qcflames.com to schedule their interview time.
The Flames staff and mascot are available for appearances and speaking engagements throughout the summer of 2008. Players will be available for appearances upon their return to the Quad Cities in mid-September.
