Flames Assign Irving & Recall Karlsson

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that goaltender Leland Irving has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) from Calgary (NHL); goaltender Henrik Karlsson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) to Calgary (NHL) after completing a two-week conditioning stint.

Next up for the Heat is their final road swing through the Midwest that will see five games played over nine nights, with the club away from home for twelve days. The action begins on Tuesday night with the first of four regular season games against the Peoria Rivermen (St. Louis Blues). Next home action for the club comes on March 2nd when the Texas Stars play their final pair in the Fraser Valley.
