(PORT HURON, MICH.) - The Port Huron Flags signed Right Wing Bobby Kukulka to the roster today, as they prepare to head into a busy stretch that includes nine home and four away games until the end of the month.

Kukulka spent the last two seasons in the UHL, playing with the Flint Generals and now defunct-Richmond Riverdogs. During those two seasons he racked up 26 goals and 25 assists. He played the initial part of this season in the Central Hockey League, as a New Mexico Scorpion. In 11 games, he netted a goal and three assists.

"Bobby is a feisty, gritty forward. He goes to the net and will hopefully provide a spark for our offense. He sticks his nose in when it counts," said Head Coach Stan Drulia.

A native of Macomb, Mich., Bobby weighs in at 175 pounds and stands five-feet-eight. He will wear the number 13 jersey and is the second right wing to be added to the team, after Rob Snowball.

Additionally, the Flags waived defenseman Sam Webber on Monday.

The Port Huron Flags are a community owned, nonprofit member club of the United Hockey League. For more information on the 2006-07 season, contact the front office at (810) 982-3524 or visit the website at www.porthuronflags.net .
