Five Return Home for Three Game Homestand

(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) The Sudbury Five will return home this Thursday, beginning the team's second last home stand of the season.

The Five will welcome the KW Titans to the Sudbury Arena in game two of a home-and-home series. The Titans currently sit in fifth place in the Central Division, with a record of 12-15. The Five are coming off an important win against the Titans Monday afternoon, where the Five came from behind to capture the 106-104 victory. Thursday will mark the home debut for newcomers Maurice "Mo" Jones Sr. and Francis Kiapway, who were acquired by the Five prior to the NBL Canada Transaction Deadline on Friday. Thursday's game is sponsored by the YMCA, with YMCA youth participating in a half-time mini-game. YMCA staff will be in attendance to hand out prizes to lucky fans in attendance.

The Five will look to quickly regroup before hosting the Central Division leading St. John's Edge Monday evening. The Edge are led by NBA Champion Glen "Big Baby" Davis and 2017-18 NBL Canada MVP Carl English. In his first season in the National Basketball League of Canada, Glen Davis is averaging 16.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. The Edge lineup also features 7-foot- 2 center Satnam Singh, a 2015 second-round pick to the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. The Five will be looking for an important divisional victory after dropping both games in Newfoundland in December.

The team's three game homestand will wrap up with the final visit of the season from division rival, the Windsor Express on Thursday February 28th .

Tip-off for all three games begins at 7:05pm. Tickets for each game can be purchased online at www.thefive.ca or in person at the Sudbury Community Arena Box Office.
