Nashville SC News Release

NASHVILLE -- Saturday evening is shaping up to be a memorable night for Nashville Soccer Club and its fans. With a matchup between top-5 teams in the USL Championship Eastern Conference, and in a stadium that Nashville SC will call home for its first couple of seasons in MLS, fans will get a chance to "preview" NSC at Nissan Stadium at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

As the match gets closer, we give you five reasons why you'll want to get a ticket for this one.

1) AFFORDABLE TICKETS

In an age where downtown Nashville entertainment costs an arm and a leg, Nashville SC has made tickets to Saturday's match extremely affordable to all fans. By becoming a member of the Nashville SC Fan Club, you can purchase tickets for just $8. That means you can bring yourself and your two best friends for just $24 or your family of 5 for just $40. These aren't just Standing Room Only Tickets, these are Sideline Seats in the Lower Bowl of Nissan Stadium.

If you have been waiting to try out a Nashville SC match, Saturday is a perfect, and affordable, chance to see high-level professional soccer.

2) SEE NASHVILLE SC IN ITS FUTURE (TEMPORARY) HOME

While Nashville SC works to build its permanent, brand-new MLS stadium at the Fairgrounds over the next couple of years, it will start its MLS journey in 2020 and 2021 at Nissan Stadium. Saturday's match will be an opportunity for fans to get a sneak peek at what the next two seasons will look like with the Boys in Gold on the field at Nissan.

With MLS Season Ticket Memberships on sale for as little as $425, or 9 monthly payments of $47, Saturday's match will provide an appetizer to what is to come in Major League Soccer.

3) PARTY ALL DAY

Music City has become synonymous with knowing how to party, and in its short history, Nashville SC has thrown some great ones. Saturday will be no different as Nashville SC has parties lined up all day starting from at 1 p.m. at Downtown Sporting Club. The new Broadway bar is promoting a "Wear your gear, get a beer" special that all Nashville SC fans wearing their blue and gold will get a beer on the house. Combine that offer with a 2-for-1 domestic beer special, and fans can get three beers for the price of one.

At 3 p.m. head across the Pedestrian bridge and over to the South Lawn at Nissan Stadium for a party that will include food trucks, a FIFA gaming station, inflatable soccer, photo booths and music from DJ Grant Fisher. Bring your friends and party with Nashville SC all day Saturday!

4) BIG TIME MATCHUP

On the field, Nashville SC vs. Indy Eleven is one of the prime matchups of the USL Championship season. Pegged as two of the favorites headed into the 2019 season, both teams have had success and sit in the top 5 of the Championship's Eastern Conference. Nashville boasts the second-best offense in the conference while Indy has allowed the fewest goals. The teams played to a 0-0 draw in Indianapolis earlier this season, so Saturday's matchup is sure to be close.

5) RÍOS CHASING THE GOLDEN BOOT

Nashville SC's first-ever MLS signing, Daniel Ríos from Chivas de Guadalajara, has been as good as advertised in his first season with Nashville SC. He has scored 12 goals already this season, breaking Nashville's single season record with still 15 matches remaining in the season. He currently sits in second place in the USL Championship Golden Boot standings, the award given to the league's top scorer. Ríos trails Solomon Asante of Phoenix Rising FC, who has scored 14, for the lead.

Ríos has been hot lately, bagging goals in four of his last five matches, including one in Nashville's most recent match, a 2-0 victory over in-state rival Memphis 901 FC.
