Five Comets Players Earn MASL Awards

KANSAS CITY - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced the first set of 2016-2017 Award Winners this morning. Five different Kansas City Comets players were recognized in today's announcement with Stephen Paterson and Guerrero Pino earning All-Rookie honors, while Ignacio "Nacho" Flores was named All-Rookie Honorable Mention.
The MASL also announced the Honorable Mention list for the full All-MASL Awards today. Forward Leo Gibson and Defender Alain Matingou were recognized among this list of elite players. The full list of awards announced by the MASL is below.
