Seattle Reign FC News Release

SEATTLE - Seattle Reign FC goalkeeper Hope Solo, midfielders Jess Fishlock and Kim Little, and defender Rachel Corsie have been named to their national team rosters for matches over the next two weeks.

Solo will meet up with her teammates on the U.S. Women's National today in Denver, Colo. in advance of the team's two-game friendly series against Japan. The first match will take place at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. on Thursday, June 2 (6 p.m. PT on FS1) and the second in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, June 5 at FirstEnergy Stadium (9:30 a.m. PT on ESPN2).

Little and Corsie, who play for the Scottish National Team, and Fishlock, who plays for the Welsh National Team, will depart Seattle on Monday, May 30 to compete in UEFA Women's EURO 2017 qualifying tournament matches. The trio will be available for selection in Reign FC's match this Sunday, May 29 against Portland Thorns FC.

Little, Corsie, and the rest of the Scottish squad will face Iceland on Friday, June 3 at Falkirk Stadium in Falkirk, Scotland. The team will then travel to Minsk, Belarus to play Belarus on Tuesday, June 7 at FC Minsk Stadium. Scotland currently reside in first place in qualifying group 1 with a 5-0-0 record and 15 points.

Fishlock returned to the pitch last night to play the first 32 minutes against Arsenal Ladies FC at Memorial Stadium, following her recovery from a fractured left tibia suffered during April 24's match against the Boston Breakers. Fishlock will return home to Wales where the team will face Norway at Spytty Park in Newport, Wales. Wales currently stands in third place in qualifying group 8 with a 2-1-2 record and seven points, while Norway resides in second place with an undefeated 4-0-0 record and 12 points.

With 98 career shutouts, Solo will have an opportunity to push her record to 100 in the two matches against Japan. The friendlies will mark the first time Japan and USA have met since the historic 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup championship, in which Solo recorded three saves in the USA's 5-2 victory.

As a result of Solo's national team duties, Reign FC have added amateur goalkeeper Andi Tostanoski to its roster, making her available for selection in Sunday's match against Portland Thorns FC at Providence Park in Portland, Ore. Sunday's match will be streamed live at youtube.com/nwsl. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. PT.

After this Sunday's match against Portland, Reign FC will return to Seattle to prepare for their Sunday, June 12 match at Memorial Stadium against FIFA World Player of the Year Carli Lloyd and the Houston Dash. Tickets begin at $18 and can be purchased at reignfc.com/dash or by calling (855)-REIGN-FC.
