
Sky Blue FC Waives Midfielder Ashley Nick

Tinton Falls, N.J. - Sky Blue FC (2-3-1, 7 points) of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) officially announced today that it has waived midfielder Ashley Nick from its roster.
Nick, 28, made three appearances for Sky Blue FC during the 2016 NWSL season, registering one start and accumulating 103 total minutes of action. She was signed by Sky Blue FC as a free agent prior to the start of preseason camp this year after spending the 2015 season with the Houston Dash and Western New York Flash.
Sky Blue FC is set for a 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff with the Chicago Red Stars on Sunday night and will then return home to Yurcak Field on Saturday, June 11th, to host FC Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for that match are available now.
