Indiana Ice News Release
INDIANAPOLIS-The Indiana Ice look to build their Eastern Conference lead as they host Team USA U17 on Friday (1/10) from Pan Am Pavilion and the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday (1/11) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Both games are set to begin at 7:05 pm.
Indy earned three of four possible points after splitting a pair of contests with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders last weekend. Four different Icemen scored in Indy's 4-2 win over Cedar Rapids on Friday from Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Saturday's contest from Pan Am Pavilion went into extra innings before the RoughRiders finished the night with a 3-2 shootout win.
Team USA holds a 2-1-0 record in three games against the Ice this season. Jacob Pritchard leads Indy with five points (3G, 2A), including a three-point (2G, A) effort against the Red, White and Blue in early October. Samu Perhonen owns the lone win in net for Indy.
Saturday will mark the fifth of eight matches between the Ice and rival Muskegon with Indy holding a 2-1-1 record against the Lumberjacks. Austin Kosack tops all Indy scorers with six assists while Denis Smirnov has three goals in four games against Muskegon.
