First-Half Champion Drillers Back Home Thursday

The recently crowned first-half division champion Tulsa Drillers will be back at ONEOK Field Thursday, June 20 to open a four-game series with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. It will be the Drillers' first time back in Tulsa since winning their second-straight, first-half North Division title.

Without playing a game, Tulsa punched its ticket to the Texas League Playoffs when the first half of the season ended Monday. The first-place Drillers were awarded the first-half title when their doubleheader with the Cardinals was cancelled due to extremely wet conditions at Hammons Field in Springfield.

Although Naturals were eliminated from the pennant race a couple of weeks ago, they were very influential in its outcome. Northwest Arkansas won 8 of 12 games over the Cardinals and Travelers to finish the half, helping the Drillers surge ahead in the standings.

First pitch for the first three games of the series is scheduled for 7:05PM. Sunday's finale will be the final day game of the regular season at ONEOK Field with a starting time of 2:05PM.

Some of the promotions that will take place during the four-game series include a Matt Holliday Jersey giveaway on June 20, Friday Night Fireworks on June 21 and a Mickey Mantle figurine giveaway on June 22. A complete list of upcoming promotions is below.
