First Game of Tuesday's Manatees-Stone Crabs Game Suspended

VIERA, Fla. - Due to more inclement weather stemming from Tropical Storm Debby, the first game of the scheduled doubleheader on Tuesday, June 26 between the Brevard County Manatees and the Charlotte Stone Crabs has been suspended.

Per the rules of the Florida State League, the game will be picked up at the point where it left off beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27. Brevard County and Charlotte will then play two seven-inning games following the completion of the suspended seven-inning game.

When the game went into a delay, the Manatees were leading the Stone Crabs, 3-2 in the top of the fifth inning with a runner on first and one out.

Since an official game was not played, fans with tickets from Tuesday's game can exchange them at the Space Coast Stadium box office for any other remaining Manatees regular season home game, based on availability.
