Charlotte Stone Crabs News Release
VIERA - The first contest of Tuesday's doubleheader between the Charlotte Stone Crabs and the Brevard County Manatees has been suspended due to inclement weather from Tropical Storm Debby. It will be resumed on Wednesday, June 27, beginning at 11:00 p.m.
The game went into a delay with the Stone Crabs hitting in the top of the fifth inning. Brevard County leads Charlotte by a 3-2 score with a runner on first and one out.
Following the conclusion of the suspended game, the Stone Crabs and Manatees will then play a doubleheader, which will consist of two seven inning contests with a 30 minute intermission between games.
The Stone Crabs will return home on Thursday, June 28, to take on the Fort Myers Miracle. It will be another "Thursty Thursday," where fans can purchase $1 domestic drafts and $2 domestic cans until the end of the 5th inning.
