Welcome to the First Annual 501 (C) 3 Ocean State Waves Golf Classic. Have you ever wondered what a baseball player's favorite thing to do on their off day is? No matter where they are playing the majority of baseball players will say "Golf". That being said, we decided as an organization that it was time to launch our first ever annual golf tournament. This year's tournament will be at Laurel Lane Country Club located 10 minutes from Old Mountain Field in West Kingston.
We will organize our annual golf tournament to be the Monday of every "Family Week" therefore players, their parents and host parents can all enjoy a nice relaxing day on the links!! This year's tournament will cost $150 and include a three-course dinner at the conclusion of the event. If you would only like to attend the dinner the cost will be $40.
The tournament will be a shotgun start while players compete to play a "Best Ball Round" of golf.
In addition to a day on the course, our dinner will include a bunch of raffle items with raffle tickets being sold throughout the day and evening, numerous hole prizes from our Tee Sponsors, as well as a message from our head coach Brian Kehew, our president and general manager Eric Hirschbein-Bodnar, team awards and superlatives as well as a great night of music.
