
Fireworks Tonight ; Mohawks Re-Sign Maile

Amsterdam Mohawks News Release
The Amsterdam Mohawks will be holding its fourth of six fireworks shows after their game against the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs on Sunday July 3. The show is sponsored by the Amsterdam Rotary. First pitch is 5:00 and there are two seven inning games being played as part of a doubleheader. Fireworks will happen after Game 2.
In addition, the Mohawks have added 2010 catcher Luke Maile to their roster again. The University of Kentucky backstop was part of the 2010 championship team where he hit .313. This season for Kentucky, he hit fifth in their order, started 50 games and hit .282 with 9 homeruns.
