Fireworks Times Two for Final Home Series

Jackson, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals have one final, fun-filled homestand in the 2016 regular season before heading to the playoffs. The team returns home for five games against the Chattanooga Lookouts starting Thursday in a series that features a Dollar Night, a pair of Fireworks shows, SEC Ticket giveaways and much more!

The Generals are in a tight race to secure a Second Half division title, which would give the team home field in four of five potential games in a first round playoff series. Jackson is already guaranteed a playoff spot by virtue of winning the First Half. Should the Generals win both halves, it'll be the third time in franchise history the team has done so after accomplishing the feat in both 1999 and 2005.

Dollar Night - Thursday, September 1 - 7:05 pm CT

It's the last State Farm Wes Harris Dollar Night of the 2016 regular season! General admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, Pepsi products and select beer are just $1 all night long as the team opens up a five-game series against Chattanooga! Fans can upgrade to a reserved seat for just $5!

SEC Night - Saturday, September 3 - 6:05 pm CT

What better way to celebrate the start of football season than SEC Night presented by Tennova Healthcare! The Generals will be giving away two tickets to eight SEC football games throughout the night! The games are as follows:

o Wofford at Ole Miss (Home Opener), September 10

o Western Kentucky at Alabama (Home Opener), September 10

o MTSU at Vanderbilt, September 10

o Florida at Vanderbilt, October 1

o Tennessee State at Vanderbilt, October 22

o Ole Miss at Vanderbilt, November 19

o Missouri at Tennesee, November 19

o Tennessee at Vanderbilt, November 26

The SEC-themed night will conclude with a postgame fireworks show to the tune of your favorite fight songs thanks to Tennova Health Care! It's our final Saturday fireworks show of the season.

The Memphis Grizzlies Regional Caravan will be making a stop in Jackson! SEC star Wade Baldwin IV, the 17th overall pick in the 2016 draft from Vanderbilt, will be at The Ballpark along with Grizz, the Grizz Girls and the Claw Crew!

Family FunDay Sunday - Sunday, September 4 - 2:05 pm CT

The second-to-last home game of the regular season is perfect for the whole family! On Family FunDay, kids 12 and under get free admission, fun zone access, ice cream and the chance to play catch on the field pregame!

Labor Day Celebration - Monday, September 5 - 2:05 pm CT

The season ends with the team's second annual Labor Day Celebration at The Ballpark thanks to WBBJ! After the regular season finale, the stadium will be open to the public for free! The Pamela K. Ward Band will perform life, and concessions will remain open! The night wraps up with one final fireworks show at 8:00 pm!
