Saturday, July 7th the Danbury Westerners return home to Rogers Park to host the Vermont Mountaineers and also pay tribute to area volunteer firefighters.
Saturday is Westerners Volunteer Firefighter's Night and there will be plenty of action on and off the field. Fire trucks, 'Sparky' and 'Westy' for the kid's and, the first 100 kid's in attendance will get a free fireman's hat!
Come out and honor the 12 Danbury volunteer fire companies and the over 300 volunteers who support our community.
Arrive early - There is plenty of food and entertainment for all. First pitch is 6:30pm. Hope to see you at the ball park!
