BRIDGEVIEW, IL - The Chicago Fire defeated the New York Red Bulls 1-0 tonight in front of 16,776 fans at TOYOTA PARK. Fire midfielder Stephen King scored the game-winning goal in the 36th minute off a mis-clear by Red Bulls defender Diego Jimenez for his first career game-winning goal. Goalkeeper Jon Busch recorded his league-leading 10th shutout of the season. The Fire are tied with New England for second place in the Eastern Conference standings.
