
Fire Assigned Fullback Campione

Louisville, KY-The Louisville Fire Arena Football team has been assigned Dave Campione (6'0, 250 lbs., Eastern Illinois University).
Campione was a blocking fullback for the Panthers. He played at EIU from 2003-06. Campione started every game during 2005 and 2006. He currently holds strength records at EIU. Amongst full backs at EIU, Campione holds the record for bench press (435 lbs), power clean (142.5 kg (314 lbs)), back squat (505 lbs), vertical jump (32 in), and standing long jump (9'5.5"). His bench press record is the all-time high for EIU.
"Dave [Campione] is an excellent blocker," stated Assistant Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel George Eskridge when asked about Campione. "He has great speed for his size and possesses good hands out of the backfield."
The Louisville Fire will kickoff the 2008 season against the Iowa Barnstormers on March 29. Season tickets for the 2008 Fire season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 502.368.0009 today. Season ticket packages begin at $72.
