Final Round of Sacramento Republic FC Tryouts This Weekend

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (January 17, 2014) - Sacramento Republic FC will host its final open tryouts this weekend, January 18-19, at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex. Over 90 players will be participating including players from as far away as Chile, Germany and United Kingdom.

Players participating will receive a two-day match tryout, official Sacramento Republic FC Dri-Fit tee shirt, players' assessment from soccer operations staff, catered lunch, beverages and snacks. A fully equipped physical therapy staff will be on site courtesy of Results Therapy.

Following the completion of open tryouts, select players will be invited to the club's invite-only combines that take place January 20 - 24. Approximately 30 players will be selected for the combines, including a handful that participated in previous tryouts.

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014

* Lunch will take place from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. In addition, Coach Preki will address the players for motivational talk on Saturday at 10:00 a.m..
