The Michigan Baseball Foundation is proud to announce the addition of Ron Fillmore and Howard Ungerleider to the Foundation's board of directors.

Fillmore is Vice President of Construction MBU for Dow Corning, a role he assumed after returning from three years at Dow Corning's facility in Brussels, Belgium, as Global Executive Director for the Construction Industry. Fillmore joined Dow Corning in 1987, after earning a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. Fillmore is married with two children.

Ungerleider is Vice President of Investor Relations of The Dow Chemical Company, a position he has held since May 2008. Ungerleider, who joined Dow in 1990, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in Austin and a master's degree in business administration from the University of California in Los Angeles. Ungerleider is married with two children. In addition, Pat Dawson of The Dow Chemical Company has resigned from the board of directors upon being named Asia Pacific President for the company.

"The Michigan Baseball Foundation is extremely pleased to have Ron and Howard join the Foundation's board of directors," said MBF Founder and President Bill Stavropoulos. "In addition, we are grateful for the valuable service Pat Dawson has provided as a director for the Foundation."

Fillmore and Ungerleider join an MBF board of directors and officers that include Stavropoulos, Vice Presidents Mike Hayes and Jeneé Velasquez, Treasurer Bill Weideman, and Board Members John Bartos, Eric Gilbertson, Susan Kaltenbach, Marty McGuire and Dom Monastiere, and Abbe Mulders.

The Michigan Baseball Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and public charity, which was formed in 2006 to generate regional economic development through creative partnerships and grants and to enhance the efforts of regional organizations that serve young people. The Michigan Baseball Foundation owns and operates Dow Diamond, home of the Great Lakes Loons, a Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Foundation received its initial funding from The Dow Chemical Company Foundation, The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, Dow Corning Corporation, The Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation, The Charles J. Strosacker Foundation and the Bill and Linda Stavropoulos Foundation.
