Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release
PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons will host a season ticket holder question-and-answer session Thursday, June 2 at the Under the Ice Lounge below the theater at McMorran Arena from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All fans, sponsors and contest winners who have purchased season tickets, or who purchase season tickets at the event are welcomed to attend.
Those interested in the Q & A session with Coach Bill Warren and General Manager Marty Haddad can take advantage of the team's discounted rate of $140 for a full-season package to gain admission to the event. The Fighting Falcons' staff will sell ticket packages at the door.
Season ticket packages will return to their normal price of $150 per seat beginning June 3.
"We're excited to get back into the community and build a strong relationship with the fans as we continue our preparations for next season," said Fighting Falcons General Manager Marty Haddad. "Holding an event like this following the draft will give our season ticket holders a chance to find out about some of the players we'll be bringing to camp later this summer, and we look forward to sharing our excitement for next year."
The Fighting Falcons have drastically reduced ticket prices for their second season in the North American Hockey League. Full-season ticket holders will get a reserved seat for each home game of the 2011-12 season for under $6 per game.
Fans purchasing full-season ticket packages will also receive free admission to any Fighting Falcons pre-season and exhibition games. A pre-season meet and greet with the team is currently being planned to grant season ticket holders further access to the players and coaches.
The details of the 2011-12 NAHL schedule have yet to be released, but the Fighting Falcons will play 27 regular season games at McMorran Arena. The team also plans to hold a White vs. Blue scrimmage during training camp, and hopes to schedule at least one exhibition game. Last year, the Czech Republic's U-18 National Team took on the Fighting Falcons at McMorran Arena.
Once available, the 2011-12 Fighting Falcons schedule will be posted online at www.phfightingfalcons.com.
