Fighting Falcons to Give Away 2011-12 Season Tickets in Humane Society Raffle

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons will continue their support of the St. Clair County Humane Society, as they will accept donations at each home game for the remainder of the 2010-11 season. Any fan who makes a donation will be able to submit an entry into a raffle for a chance to win a pair of season tickets for the 2011-12 season!

Donation bins will be available at McMorran Arena's South entrance. Recommended items for donation include the following from the Humane Society's "Wish List:"

- Non-clumping cat litter - Multi-purpose cleaner

- Mighty Dog canned dog food - Window cleaner

- Canned cat food (no fish please) - Hand sanitizer

- Purina dry cat food - Clorox wipes

- Pedigree dry dog food - Paper towels

- Liquid laundry detergent - Kleenex

- Scented Clorox bleach - Bottled water

- Floor cleaner - Postage stamps

The Fighting Falcons will play five home games in February and five in March before the end of the regular season. Fans can earn multiple entries in the season ticket raffle by making donations at multiple games, or by making donations to the Humane Society directly at:

"Working with the local Humane Society and other charity groups in the area has been a big priority for our team," said Fighting Falcons general manager Marty Haddad. "We really want to show our community that we are committed to the Blue Water Area, and this is a great opportunity to do that."

"It's easy to overlook animals in tough economic times like these, but it never stops being important to provide them with shelter and care," added owner Maribeth Hayes. "Every donation goes a long way towards helping the Humane Society provide the animals with what they need to survive."
