
Fewer Than 1,000 Tickets Remain for Tonight's Timbers-Seattle U.S. Open Cup Match

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced this afternoon that fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for tonight's U.S. Open Cup match with Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders FC at PGE Park.
Tickets are available at the PGE Park box office, area Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
The third-round matchup between the Timbers and Sounders FC will be the last competitive meeting between the Northwest sides before the rivalry is officially renewed when Portland joins MLS in 2011. Wednesday's winner advances to face the Los Angeles Galaxy in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup, an annual competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams and recognized as U.S. Soccer's national championship.
