FC Cincinnati News Release

CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati have announced a sell out for their opening game in the 2018 U.S. Open Cup - a second-round match against National Premier Soccer League entry Detroit City FC - at Gettler Stadium next Wednesday, May 16.

All 2,250 tickets have been sold and the game will now also be available via live stream on ussoccer.com and fccincinnati.com. The Gettler Stadium gates will open at 6:30 p.m. for fans holding tickets.

For fans who have secured tickets to the game, concessions and beer sales will be available inside Gettler Stadium.

Fans are also encouraged to use FCC's ticketing links to secure parking passes for the game in advance of next Wednesday's game. The Corry Garage and the Calhoun Garage will be open for this event. Fans without a parking pass will have a $10 cash parking fee.

Additionally, fans are reminded that all regular-season policies related to fan behavior and celebration will still be in effect at Gettler Stadium.

In 2017, FC Cincinnati advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Open Cup, falling in extra time to MLS entry New York Red Bulls in front of a sell-out crowd of 33,250 fans at Nippert Stadium.

Before next Wednesday's U.S. Open Cup game, FC Cincinnati (5-1-2) travels to face the Charlotte Independence in Matthews, N.C., at 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 12.

After this Saturday's game the Orange and Blue will return to USL regular-season play next Saturday, May 19, when the team hosts a "Black Out" at Nippert Stadium against North Carolina FC. Kickoff of that game is set for 7:30 p.m., and fans are encouraged to don black FCC gear to support the Cincinnati players, who'll be wearing their third black uniforms for the game. Tickets to that game, as well as a link to the FCC online team store to purchase "Black Out" gear, are available at fccincinnati.com.
