FCC Travels to Indy Eleven Saturday

FC Cincinnati jumps back into USL action at Indy Eleven this Sat., Mar. 31 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The match is the first official contest between the two sides.

FCC played Indy Eleven's NPSL team in the 2016 U.S. Open Cup Tournament, besting the NPSL team 2-1.

FLYER FRIENDLY POSTPONED

FCC's scheduled friendly against the Dayton Flyers was postponed due to weather.

The match will be rescheduled for a later date.

HOME OPENER APR. 7 AGAINST LOUISVILLE

FCC's home opener is two weeks away and the team will face its River Cities rival and the defending USL champions Louisville City FC.

The match will kick off at 7:00 p.m. and the club has already sold over 21,000 tickets for the contest.

Sponsored by Cintas, FCC will hand out game magnets to the first 10,000 fans at the gates.

ABOUT INDY ELEVEN

Indy Eleven is 1-0-0 after defeating Richmond Kickers 1-0 in their opening match-up.

Jack McInery scored the lone goal of the match with the assist going to Soony Saad.

Owain Fon Williams was in goal for Indy Eleven and faced two shots on goal in the shutout.

Against the Kickers, Indy Eleven won the aeriel battle at 71.9 percent and posted a 55.5 percent success rate in duels won while being edged on possession by Richmond's 51.8 percent.

KEINAN NAMED TO FIRST USL TEAM OF THE WEEK

Dekel Keinan earned a spot on the first USL Team of the Week for 2018 after helping FCC to a 1-0 win over Charleston.

Keinan had 11 clearances and won five of eight duels.

SEASON OPENER REVIEW

FCC opened the season with a 1-0 win over Charleston Battery.

The Orange and Blue utilized its height advantage with Forrest Lasso leading the team by winning all five of his aeriel duels.

Lasson and Dekel Keinan combined for 22 of the team's clearances

NEWTON LOGS SHUTOUT

Evan Newton was given the start in goal and Virginia Beach native delivered with a four-save clean sheet.

FIRST LIVE FAN SHOW ON APR. 4

FCC's first live Toyota Dealers FC Cincinnati Fan Show episode will be Apr. 4 at MadTree Brewing.

Mo Egger and Tommy Gelehrter will be on site with Head Coach Alan Koch and select FCC players with the show running from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
