NIPPERT TO GO DARK
FCC continues to climb up the league standings, moving to fifth after registering a draw against Tampa Bay Rowdies in physical midweek match-up.
The Orange and Blue take on their third consecutive team in the top three when they go up against Louisville City FC this Sat., at 7:00 p.m.
The match has been designated a 'Black Out' match with the team due to don their alternate black kits.
IT'S DELBRIDGE, NOT DJIBY AGAINST TAMPA BAY
Harrison Delbridge scored his first goal of the season, a header in the 35th minute to level the score at 1-1 against Tampa Bay.
Delbridge, who had an assist in Djiby's four-goal outing last Sat., now has three points on the year.
WALKER WITH THE ASSIST
Kenney Walker added another assist to his ledger after he connected with Delbridge on the set piece.
Walker shares the team lead with Andrew Wiedeman with two assists.
The Wickcliffe, OH native leads the team with 12 chances created.
RIVER CITIES RIVALRY RESUMES SAT.
Louisville City FC enters the week with a 3-0-1 mark, handing Tampa Bay Rowdies their first loss last weekend.
George Davis IV paces the team with three goals in four appearances.
Former FCC player, Luke Spencer, will make his first return to Nippert Stadium since signing on Louisville.
Spencer has one goal on the year.
Goalkeeper Tim Dobrowolski has six saves and conceded two goals.
THE SERIES
The two teams matched up three times last year for a 1-1-1 record.
FCC came away with the series cup based on goal differential.
LouCity kicked off the series with a 3-2 win and the two teams ended in a scoreless deadlock in Louisville before FCC posted a 2-0 win at Nippert in the series finale.
The offense came from defenders, Austin Berry and Pat McMahon in the first match-up as the duo sandwiched a hat-trick by former LouCity standout, Chandler Hoffman.
In the final match it was Andrew Wiedeman and Sean Okoli, who each logged a goal for the team.
