KANSAS CITY, MO (October 23, 2015) - FC Kansas City announced today that the club has acquired the Orlando Pride's second-round pick in the 2017 National Women's Soccer League College Draft. In exchange, the Blues will send the rights to forward Sarah Hagen and a second-round (No. 15 overall) selection in the 2016 NWSL College Draft to the Pride.

"Trading Sarah [Hagen] was not an easy decision to make," Coach Vlatko Andonovski said. "She was a big part of our team for two great seasons and two championships. We want to wish her all the best in the future."

After two seasons with FC Kansas City, Hagen, 25, helped the Blues win back-to-back titles recording a total of eight goals and three assists between the 2014 and 2015 campaigns.

The Orlando Pride was recently announced as the newest expansion club, which will begin play next year.
