FC Cincinnati News Release
FC Cincinnati will trek to Toronto FC II for a Sunday match at 4:00 p.m.
The club looks to improve on its 2-2-0 record.
FCC is currently tied for sixth in the USL Eastern Conference standings with six points.
Also in sixth is Charlotte Independence and Bethlehem Steel FC.
TRENDS
FCC does not seem to be lacking in offense, scoring two goals apiece in three straight games.
Over four games, the club is even on goals scored and goals allowed at six apiece.
FCC favors the first half, outscoring the opponent 4-2 in the first period.
However, the team has doubled the opposition's shot out-put, 30-15, in the second half.
FCC has earned 27 corner kicks while limiting teams to 17.
LAST TIME OUT
FC Cincinnati played in front of a USL regular-season record crowd of 20,497, eclipsing its opening day tally of 14,658.
FCC trailed early on a hat trick by Chandler Hoffman but eventually narrowed the lead to one before falling 3-2 to Louisville City FC.
Austin Berry scored on a header in his second straight game, giving FCC the early 1-0 lead.
Pat McMahon also delivered with a header in stoppage time, scoring his first goal of the year.
Berry's goal pulled him even with Sean Okoli with the two sitting at the top of the team stats with four points apiece.
Okoli peppered Louisville City FC with four shots and is now tied with Jimmy McLaughlin with 10 shots apiece.
BERRY GOAL PICKS UP NOD
Berry's goal was named a USL Goal of the Week, making it the third straight week that FCC has represented on the USL highlight reel.
The defender's goal joins a pair of Okoli put-aways, recorded in weeks No. 2 and 3.
