Fayetteville Force News Release
The Fayetteville Force announced today that it has signed quarterback Lamar Little to a contract for the 2011 season. Little, who played collegiately at Virginia Union, spent last season with the rival Richmond Raiders.
The 5'9", 200-pound signal-caller is known primarily for his speed out of the backfield and his ability to make plays while on the move. Little gives the Force a versatile player at a key position with the ability to lead a potent offense. Using his speed and cannon arm, Little led the Richmond Raiders to a decisive win to end the 2010 season against the former Fayetteville Guard.
"Bringing Lamar on board gives our offense that quick-strike capability that is necessary for success in the SIFL," said head coach Marquette Smith. "He has a unique ability to improvise when a play breaks down, and to make great things happen down the field. I look forward to having him lead our offensive attack."
he Fayetteville Force will kick off the upcoming season in March 2011 and will play all of its home games at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC. Ticket packages for the 2011 season are now available with season tickets available for as low as $60.00.
