Mississauga St. Michael's Majors News Release


Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors are pleased to announce that their fans are able to cast a vote in preparation for the upcoming awards banquet. The Mississauga News Fan's Choice Award is up for grabs and you get a say! Fans will get the chance to vote for the player that they feel is worthy of this award by email from now until noon on Monday, April 28. Nominations can be sent to Ben Hodge of the Majors at bhodge@majors.ca. Simply title the email "Mississauga News Fan's Choice Award" and write the player name in the message body. Each individual will only be provided with one vote, so make it count! The complete list of eligible Majors players can be found at www.stmichaelsmajors.com. The winner of this award, as well as the other categories, will be announced at the club's first annual awards banquet on Saturday, May 10. The event will take place at Stage West Hotel and Theatre Restaurant and fans are invited to attend alongside the players, staff members and billets. The reception will commence at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner being served at approximately 7:30 p.m. Banquet tickets cost $45 and can be purchased by contacting the aforementioned individual by email or phone (905-502-7788 x 222). Stage West Hotel and Theatre Restaurant is located at 5400 Dixie Road, on the northwest corner of Dixie and Matheson Boulevard.
