Fans Can Land Role with Express

ROUND ROCK - After spending nearly a decade supporting the Round Rock Express, Central Texas baseball fans can land a supporting role of a different kind.
The Express will be filming part of a special 10th Anniversary tribute commercial on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Dell Diamond. The shoot - complete with food and beverage - will begin at 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
"We never would have gotten off the ground here if it weren't for the fan support we had before we even had a team here," said Round Rock founder and CEO Reid Ryan. "We have a special connection with the community here. This is just one of the ways we'll be saying 'Thank you' this season."
The commercial will feature a short introduction from Ryan and a panoramic shot of fans seated at Dell Diamond. A complimentary late afternoon snack will be provided by the Express and Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q.
Fans are invited to wear their favorite Round Rock gear or to come as they are. All are welcome.
