Falcons Offering Game-Night Opportunities

Springfield, Mass. â The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League are searching for people interested in becoming involved with the team's game-night activities during the upcoming 2004-05 season. Among the positions available are on-ice intermission promotion staff, Kids' Club and youth area coordinators, and national anthem singers. The Falcons are also looking for local bands to play at selected games. Available perks to game-night staff include free admittance to the games and valuable experience working with a professional sports franchise.
Game-night staff:
The Dream Catchers/ Wise Guys
They are responsible for the game night promotions. Everything from getting contestants on the ice and in the stands to participating in the games activities. Skating is a plus but not required! Must be outgoing!
Kids Club and Youth Area Coordinators:
Prepares kids club table by stocking the table with pamphlets and game night sheets. They will also be responsible for signing up new kids club members on game nights. Set up and run slap shot game, face painting and other youth activities.
Anthem Singers:

Local bands:
The Falcons are looking for local bands to participate in a possible new promotion, Band Nights, for the 2004-2005 season. On designated Friday nights during the season we will invite a local bands to perform during a Falcons home game. If you are a part of, or know of a local band that would be interested in a possible new promotion with the Falcons please contact Melissa Gardner.
