
Falcons Celebrate Bulldogs Women's Basketball

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons are rolling out the welcome mat for Fresno State University's recently appointed women's basketball head coach Stacy Johnson and her staff. Coach Johnson will drop the ceremonial first puck at tomorrow night's Game Three of the Southern Division Finals when the Falcons battle the San Diego Gulls.
Falcons President John Tull will officially welcome Coach Johnson and her staff to the community on behalf of the organization at center ice during pre-game festivities, which get underway at 7:15 p.m. The Falcons and Bulldogs will become co-tenants at the Save Mart Center when the brand new arena opens in the fall of 2003.
Fresno and the Gulls split the first two games of their best-of-five series in San Diego and now return to Selland Arena for Games Three and Four. Game Four is Saturday, May 4, at 7:30 p.m. and, if necessary, Game Five will be Sunday, May 5, at 5 p.m. at the San Diego Sports Arena.
