
Extreme's Christofilakos earns award

Bloomington Extreme place-kicker Peter Christofilakos was named the Special Teams Player of the Week by IndoorFootballFan.com for his performance against Sioux Falls in the team's opening game, it was announced Wednesday.
Christofilakos was perfect on four conversation kicks and three field goal attempts. His 54-yard field goal tied for the second longest field goal converted in the United Indoor Football League.
The Extreme returns to action Saturday with a 7:05 p.m. game at U.S. Cellular Coliseum against Wichita.
