Extreme Sign Four More Players

Bloomington, IL (December 20, 2008) - Bloomington Extreme are proud to announce four players signed on for the 2009 season.

DE Ricky Miller, LB Akeem Greenfield, LB/DE Eugene Phillips and Center Luke Wickman have all been added to the Extreme roster.

DE Ricky Miller (6'3", 260) played college football for Fresno State. Miller played for the Rockford Raptors two years ago. He did not play football last year because he is also a professional boxer and was cast to be on the reality television series The Contender.

"Ricky Miller brings a lot of speed and power to the team," Head Coach Kenton Carr said.

LB Akeem Greenfield (6'2", 230) is a former starter for Fordham University. He played for the Sioux City Bandits, so he has indoor football experience.

"Akeem Greenfield is a very athletic player with a high motor," Head Coach Carr said.

LB/DE Eugene Phillips (6'3", 250) played in college for Georgia Southern University. While playing at Georgia Southern the team won three national championships. Phillips has had eight years of pro experience. He has been the top player in the league for the past three years. He consistently totals double digit sacks each season.

Center Luke Wickman (6'4", 315) played college football for Western Illinois University. Wickman is a veteran to the Bloomington Extreme, and has been playing with the team for two years.

"Luke Wickman is an excellent center," Head Coach Carr said.
