BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington Extreme indoor football coach Ted Schmitz announced Wednesday the re-signing of defensive lineman Rachman Crable, who has three years of experience playing indoor football.

The 6-foot-3, 295-pound Crable was initially signed by the Extreme in the off-season, but was later waived because he was out of the country with his fiancé, who recently completed her season in the European Professional Women's Basketball League.

He tied for sixth in the league last season in quarterback sacks. Crable also recorded 42 solo tackles and 29 assists in 15 games. He was a member of the 2005 UIF All-Star team.

Crable, who spent time early in his pro career with the New York Giants, also played for the Indiana Firebirds in the af2.

To make room on the Extreme 30-man roster, defensive lineman Montel Conner was placed on waivers.
