Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice of United Indoor Football (UIF) have signed Colin Reese from Catawba College and Shane Marsh from Colorado State University (CSU). Reese is an addition to the receiving unit while Marsh will act as a defensive back.
Reese played three years for Catawba as a wide receiver and finished his final season fourth on the team with 18 catches. He earned four varsity letters playing football for Independence High School and Hargrove Military Academy. He earned All-Conference honors and preseason All American honors. He was also named as co-offensive MVP and outstanding wide receiver.
Marsh played three years for CSU, mostly on special teams. He ranked fourth on the team in special teams tackles his junior year. He was a three-year letter winner in football for Arvada West and earned All-Conference honors in 2000 and 2001.
The Ice will host the undefeated RiverCity Rage Saturday at the Budweiser Events Center, 5290 Arena Circle, Loveland at 7:05 p.m. for "College/School Night." Students of all ages can purchase discounted tickets for $10 through Ice Headquarters only at 1 Old Town Square #107. KFKA 1310 AM Radio offers coverage of all Ice games.
