Bloomington Extreme News Release
Bloomington Extreme indoor football coach Ted Schmitz and selected players will appear at Elroy's Restaurant/Bar in downtown Bloomington on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. for the Extreme Coaches radio show.
Schmitz will talk about the season to date and what's ahead now that the team has won a franchise-best three straight games to even its record at 3-3 in the United Indoor Football League.
Greg Halbleib and Craig Fata, voted the top broadcast team in the UIF last season, host the show that airs on Radio Bloomington station WTRX (93.7 FM), the station for all Extreme games.
The Extreme returns to action Saturday with a 7:05 p.m. game against Ohio Valley at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The Greyhounds have a 2-5 record and defeated the Extreme, 41-33, in Wheeling, W. Va., earlier this year.
The first 3,000 fans will receive a red Extreme baseball hat, compliments of U.S. Cellular and the Pantagraph. Tickets for all Extreme games are on sale at the Coliseum box office, 101 S. Madison Street, Bloomington.
Tickets also may be purchased by calling 309-434-2679 or 866-891-9992. Tickets also may be obtained at www.bloomingtonextreme.com or www.uscellularcoliseum.com.
