Express Take Series Lead

(WINDSOR, ONTARIO) The Windsor Express are one win away from the NBL Finals.

In a game dominated by the Express from start to finish, Windsor took a 3-2 series lead in the NBL semifinals over London with a 108-91 victory at the WFCU Centre on Wednesday night.

Windsor grabbed a 24-17 advantage after the first quarter and continued to pull away, extending the lead to 20 at half time.

The game marked the return of Stefan Bonneau to the lineup, after missing the first four games of the series.

Bonneau made an immediate impact, dropping a team high 21 points and adding 6 assists.

Six Windsor players contributed double digits in points.

DeAndre Thomas had 17 and 8 rebounds.

Quinnel Brown had a double-double of 10 points and a game high 13 boards.

Windsor will attempt to finish off the two-time champs at Budweiser Gardens on Saturday, March 29 at 7:00pm.

Game 7, if necessary will be played on Tuesday, April 1st at the WFCU Centre at 7:00pm.
