Reading Express News Release

Reading Express GM/Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski announced today that he has signed former Bowie State stand-out and grad Rob "Big Block" Blocker.

Blocker played his High School football at Morgan Park HS in his home town of Chicago, Illinois, where he still resides. His outstanding college career was played at Bowie State, where Rob earned a spot as a first team All-Conference Lineman in his Junior and Senior years. In his senior year Rob was named as D2 All-American.

"Block is a 6'4" 340lb OL/DL with great mobility and strength. We are excited to get Rob on our roster. He is a tough kid with the kind of work ethic we look for here in Reading. He's a gym rat and practices hard everyday." In my signing Rob I have found him to be a team player, the type of kid that accepts coaching and he is the type of guy who prides himself on getting along with all his team mates" commented Nowotarski.

Rob is looking in his full time career to be able to work with At-Risk Youth as well as coach. He is a family man and I think Rob is going to fit in here very nicely.

Check out the NEW Express website for open try-outs and event information at www.expressindoorfootball.com........I also expects to release another Express signing tomorrow.
