Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Ever closer to an MLS Cup Playoffs berth, the Montreal Impact unveiled on Tuesday the details of its playoff ticket sales.
Club members (season ticket holders) in 2016 will have access to an exclusive sale for Playoff Packs that include a ticket for four home games (Knockout Round at Stade Saputo, if applicable; Eastern Conference Semifinal; Eastern Conference Championship; and MLS Cup, if applicable) from Thursday, October 13, at 9am, to Monday, October 17, at 10pm. Members will save up to 35% on the cost of individual tickets and only be charged one game at a time as the team qualifies for another playoff round. For all details and benefits, click here.
New members in 2017, as well as supporters who purchased mini-season packages, will be able to purchase their Playoff Packs on October 19-20, from 9am to 10pm.
The general public will be able to pick up their Playoff Packs, saving 12% on the cost of individual tickets, on October 21-22, from 9am to 10pm.
Should the Impact play a Knockout Round game at home on October 26 or 27, individual tickets - for this game only - will be available after the last regular season game, on Sunday, October 23, starting in the evening (time to be confirmed).
Should the Impact reach MLS Cup, on Saturday, December 10, the final will be played in Montreal if the Bleu-blanc-noir's regular-season points total is higher than the other finalist's. Otherwise, the game will be played in the other finalist's home stadium.
The Impact currently sits in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with two games left to play. Should the Impact finish third or fourth in the East, its Knockout Round game will be played at Stade Saputo. But should the Impact finish fifth or sixth, the Knockout Round game will be played on the road.
The Bleu-blanc-noir is shooting for a third playoff berth in five MLS seasons. After a first postseason berth in 2013, the Impact reached the Eastern Conference Semifinal last season against Columbus Crew SC.
The Impact will play its last home game of the regular season at Stade Saputo on Sunday, October 16, at 3pm against rivals Toronto FC. This game was initially scheduled for 5pm, but all tickets with the original time for this game will be valid at all Stade Saputo entrances on October 16, starting at 1:30pm. Excellent individual tickets are still available for this game on 05504fc446f3c8e193bc28abb impactmontreal.com.
The Impact will finish its regular season on Sunday, October 23, at 4pm in Massachusetts against the New England Revolution.
