Everett Raptors News Release

Mike Tatum, the 5'9 160 lb. WR out of Oxnard College made an impressive contribution to a 68-50 Everett win over Wyoming on Sunday by starting off the game with a huge 50 yard opening kickoff return for a touchdown that gave the Raptors a lead they would never relinquish. He finished the game vs. the Cavalry with four kickoff returns for 101 yards and three catches for 47 yards.

After a couple of weeks of injuries and setbacks, this game showed the chemistry and hard playing efforts of a new but determined team. "They played really well together and looked great out there. They stuck together and played all four quarters just like they're supposed to do and I couldn't be happier with the work they've done," said Coach Sean Ponder.

The Raptors are on a bye week this week and are set to host their fierce inter-state rival, Tri-Cities Fever, on March 22nd at Comcast Arena. The night will be dedicated to the Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County and a percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales are going to be donated to the BGC by the Raptors at the end of the game.
